Jayne O'Malley
Senior Physiotherapist
Jayne, Physiotherapist

Jayne graduated as a Physiotherapist from LaTrobe University in 2009 and joined the team at Lakeview Physio in 2018. Since graduating Jayne has been working in a multidisciplinary private practice specialising in sports and spinal injuries. She has also engaged in a variety of ongoing professional development courses including Dry Needling which she continues to use today as part of her treatments.

Jayne has a particular interest in assessing the biomechanics of the human body to detect variances and deficiencies that may be causing a problem. This includes problems in the lower limbs, hips and lower back as well as neck, shoulder and shoulder blade issues. Identifying addressing and improving such imbalances and deficiencies is a key factor in helping to prevent the injury from re-occurring.

Jayne has been regularly involved with local footy, swimming and soccer clubs and has travelled and worked with tennis players on the International Federation Circuit in 2012. Whilst overseas she also worked in the U.K and explored Europe and the Middle East.

Jayne participates in many sports; tennis, bike riding, hiking, swimming and running, and understands the importance of a healthy balanced body to do these activities.

Other than sport Jayne enjoys spending her spare time with family, friends and Roger her dog and looks forward to further overseas travel.
